it's been a while

Journal Entry: Wed Nov 18, 2009, 7:50 PM
I am so terrible at keeping up with things. I exist in cycles: for a short while, I am breathlessly productive, whirling through life with ease and managing to do everything without a second thought. But then I sink into this state of entropy, everything slowly falling apart until I am just barely hanging on, getting only the bare minimum done.

I am in the latter of these states at the moment; I have several hundred unread e-mails in my inbox, piles of college mail to look at for two seconds then discard, and, I am ashamed to say, over 200 deviations and 100 messages on here to look at. :/ Yeahhh. That will take awhile. So sorry for not responding to things in forever.. blehh.

Anyway. Life! It goes on. Going to see Amanda Palmer tomorrow night with :iconalexandersteele: and it is going to be FANTASTIC. She has inspired us both so so so much. Aaaaaah :D
We're hoping that the guy who's doing our recording and producing will be done with a few of the 6 tracks we recorded by then so we can not-so-secretly slip Miss Palmer a CD. We're sort of wishfully hoping that next time she comes around the area we can open for her.. aaaaah that would be amazing. So yeah :]

Also! Battle of the Bands in December which is going to be lots of fun. We have 100 tickets to sell and we're probably going to sell all of them based on the response we've been getting from friends, family, and random people we tell about us. Which is a wonderful sign!

I don't think I've posted a link to our myspace yet! Time for spammmmming!

We have 3 live recordings up for listening on our myspace: [link]

You may watch videos & find lyrics on our youtube:

And you may download these songs and put them on the music device of your choosing on our last.fm:

DO IT :D

Mmmkkayyy that's all!

lol I was just trying to catch Alex, but I missed him.
Can I ask your advice? About a work of prose?

She heard what she wanted to hear and it seemed like she caught the words quickly up in her fists and held them to her chest. Then, with that embarrassed smile, she pretended she wasn't so corny, so honored by the attention.

Destiny is no matter of chance. It is a matter of choice. It is not a thing to be waited for, it is a thing to be achieved.

OH. MY. GAWD.

I finally looked up Glass I. You both are incredible! I mean, I knew that, and I'd heard good things, but I LOVE your style! The recordings didn't do you justice, though. I couldn't hear most of the lyrics, but hell, now I'm just psyched to see you guys live. :)

I FOUND YOU, TOO! <333

Through your lover-thief poem. That one still makes me blush. ^^

When things happen to people, they radiate a light. Because they have a picture caught inside them. Because they were there and you weren't. And because you only got a piece. And because all you can do is shrink and blow up that one tiny piece.
:iconalecbell:
Thank you very much for watching.

I hope you some things to interest you.

I thought I had added you ages ago when I first joined, but I realized that I hadn't actually! Which is silly.
I'm a fan of your work; my dear :iconalexandersteele: recommended you to me upon the exchange of certain haikus between the two of you :]
:iconalecbell:
At moment I'm writing a lot of Haiku. I find them interesting inpart because every word has to be weighted to get the balance of the poem right.
